Egg manchuria | How to make Egg Manchurian recipe at home

Ingredients

  • For Egg Coating
  • 4 Boiled eggs (Slit horizontally into 4 pieces)
  • 1 Egg
  • Salt – pinch
  • Black Pepper powder – small quantity
  • 2.5 tbsp Maida (all purpose flour)
  • 2 tbsp Corn Flour
  • Oil – for frying Eggs
  • For Manchurian
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Finely chopped Ginger
  • 1.5 tsp Finely chopped Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Onions
  • 2 Finely chopped Green Chillies
  • 1 tbsp Chinese Chilli Paste
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper powder
  • 1 tsp White Pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ajinomoto
  • Dark Soya Sauce
  • 125 - 150 ml Water
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Spring Onions

Instructions

  1. Cut the boiled eggs into 4 horizontal pieces.
  2. Beat an Egg, add Salt and Pepper powder.
  3. Add Maida (all-purpose flour) and Corn Flour and mix well.
  4. Dip the egg gently into the batter and put it into the hot oil. Leave it for a minute and fry until it turns golden brown.
  5. Put some Oil into the pan and on a high flame let it become hot, now add chopped Ginger, Garlic, Onion and Green Chillies, fry until they turned golden brown.
  6. Add the rest of the Sauce, Salt, and Chilli Paste and toss it on a high flame. Add water and allow the Sauces to thicken.
  7. When the Sauces start thickening add the fried Egg pieces and keep the stove on a high flame. Sprinkle some chopped Spring Onions before serving.
  8. Serve tasty hot Egg Manchurian.
