For Cauliflower Fry
gms Cauliflower florets
tsp Garam Masala
tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
Pinches Red Food Color
Curry Leaves chopped – a little
Green Coriander Chopped – A little
Water for the thick paste
Oil to fry
For Fried Rice
tsp Red Chilli Powder
tsp Garlic chopped
cup Onions Chopped
tbsp Green Chillies chopped
cup Fluffy cooked Rice (185 gm Rice)
tsp Pepper Powder
tsp Dark Soya Sauce
tsp Lemon Juice
Spring Onions chopped – A little
Green Coriander chopped - A little
Mix all the ingredients to coat Cauliflower into a thick paste.
Put the Cauliflower pieces in the mixture and let the florets be coated well.
Put the coated pieces in boiling Oil and fry until they turn golden brown on a medium flame. When they turn golden, turn the flame to high and fry until they are crisp. (Check the tips on how to fry them to perfection)
Heat Oil and add Red Chillies, Curry Leaves and Garlic and fry.
Add chopped Onions, Green Chillies and fry until the Onions are cooked.
Add the Onions and the rest of the ingredients in the Rice and toss on a high flame.
Before you take it off the fire, add the fried Cauliflower florets and toss on a high flame.
