Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Rice Flakes
  • 1 cup Sour Curds
  • 2 tsp Chopped Green Chillies
  • 1 tsp Chopped Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • Salt
  • 2 tsp Chopped Green Coriander
  • Oil to fry

Instructions

  1. Pour enough Water on Rice Flakes to immerse them and soak them for 5 minutes.
  2. After 5 minutes, squeeze the water out of the Rice Flakes and put them in a bowl.
  3. Add Salt, Cumin Seeds, Asafoetida, chopped Green Coriander, Sour Curds and squeeze hard until it becomes a smooth paste.
  4. Now wet your hands, take a small lump of batter and shape it into a Vada and fry it till crispy in hot oil.
  5. They take longer than Black Gram Vadas to fry. Remove and set aside once they turn golden.
