Ingredients

  • For Rotis
  • 1 cup Maida
  • 1/4 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Lukewarm Water – Adequate
  • For pickling
  • 1 cup Onion – Sliced long
  • 2 tbsp Green Chillies chopped
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • Salt – a little
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • For Noodles
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 Onion – Sliced long
  • 1/2 cup Capsicum – Sliced long
  • 1 tbsp Garlic chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Chat Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Mirchi powder
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 Instant Noodles
  • For Rolls
  • Oil – Enough to roast Roti's
  • 1/2 cup Pudina Chutney
  • 1/4 cup Schezwan Sauce/Red Chilli Sauce
  • 2 cups Cabbage Grated Thin
  • 1 tbsp Chat Masala
  • 3 tsp Tomato Ketchup

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients for the Roti and knead the dough for 7-8 minutes so that there are no cracks.
  2. Cover the kneaded dough with a cloth and rest it for an hour.
  3. Mix all vegetables for the pickling and let them marinate for an hour.
  4. Heat Oil for Noodles and add sliced Onion, Capsicum, and chopped Garlic. Fry on a high flame for 2 minutes.
  5. After the Onions are fried a little, add Mirchi Powder, Chat Masala, and Vinegar and toss for 30 seconds.
  6. In Water add the Instant Noodles Tastemaker and boil it. While the water is boiling, add noodles and cook to 90 percent on a high flame. Remove from the fire.
  7. Strain the marinating vegetables and set them aside.
  8. Make lemon-size balls of the rested dough, sprinkle dry flour, and roll into thin Rotis.
  9. On a hot pan, put the rolled Roti, roast until both sides turn white. Remove and keep covered with a cloth.
  10. Take the half roasted Rotis and roast well on both sides by applying Oil.
  11. On the Roti, put some Mint Chutney and spread it. Then add Schezwan sauce and spread well.
  12. On one side, put the strained grated Onion and roll out the cooked Noodles in a long line. Place some grated Cabbage and sprinkle Chat Masala.
  13. On Cabbage add grated Cheese, ½ tsp Tomato ketchup and roll tight.
  14. If these Rolls are to be carried in a lunch box, then roll them in butter paper.
