Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 3 Tomatoes (diced)
  • 1 Onion (Finely cut)
  • 2 Twing Curry Leaf
  • 1 Cup Roasted Oats
  • 250-300 ml Water
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-garlic Paste
  • 1 tbsp Chilli Powder
  • 1/4 tbsp Turmeric
  • 1/4 tbsp Pepper Powder
  • 1/4 tbsp Garam Masala
  • . Kothimir (Coriander Leaves) (Small Bunch)

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a pan and put in onion and Curry leaves. Fry till onion starts to change colour.
  2. Add Salt, ginger garlic paste,turmeric and fry well.
  3. Now add the diced ripe tomato and cook till it becomes pulpy.
  4. Add water and bring to boil on high flame. Add chilli powder and oats carefully to the boiling water. Keep mixing briskly so that lumps are not formed.
  5. Leave it on medium flame till the water is absorbed. (Look at the tips for clear instructions about the consistency etc). Before taking the pan down. Add pepper powder, garam masala and chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot.
