Ingredients

  • For Roti
  • 1 cup Maida
  • 1/2 cup Wheat Flour
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Ghee
  • For Butter Wash
  • 2 tbsp Melted Butter/ Ghee
  • 1/2 tsp Chat Masala
  • 1/2 tsp Mirchi Powder
  • For Salad
  • 1 Onion Chopped
  • 1/4 cup Deseeded Tomato Chopped
  • 1 tsp Tomato Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Green Coriander Chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Mirchi Powder
  • 1 tsp Chilli Flakes
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Chat Masala

Instructions

  1. Add Salt and Ghee to the Wheat and Maida and mix well. Then add sufficient water and make a stiff dough.
  2. After kneading for 5-6 minutes, rest the dough for 15 minutes.
  3. Add Chat Masala and Mirchi Powder to Butter/Ghee and set aside.
  4. Mix all the ingredients for the Salad.
  5. Set the ā€œUā€ pan upside down on the flame, coat it with Oil on the bottom and let it get heated on a low flame.
  6. Divide the rested dough and into equal lumps and roll them into thin Rotis.
  7. Cut the rolled Roti and cut it into a round with a sharp-edged plate. Then put it on the hot pan and leave it for a minute.
  8. After a minute, white spots appear on the Roti. Then turn it over and roast on a low flame until it becomes crisp. (Look at the tips to roast Roti)
  9. Press the roasting Roti with a piece of cloth gently on all sides. Each Roti takes more than 5 minutes.
  10. Coat the crisp Rotis with mixed Butter. Then spread the Tomato Salad on the Roti and serve.
