Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Peanuts/Groundnuts
  • 1/4 cup Sesame Seeds
  • 4 Red Chillies
  • 1/4 cup Raw Coconut
  • 1 cup Cooked rice
  • Salt
  • 1/4 cup Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp Black Gram
  • 1 tsp Bengal Gram
  • 2 Sprigs Curry Leaves

Instructions

  1. Add Peanuts to a pan and roast for 3-4 minutes on a low flame only.
  2. Add Red Chillies, Raw Coconut, Sesame Seeds one by one and roast until they give out the aroma.
  3. Let them cool, and then grind to a coarse powder in a mixie.
  4. Now heat oil in another pan. Add ingredients for seasoning and fry. Add the cooked Rice, Salt, Peanut Powder. Mix well. And switch off the stove.
  5. Put it in a box after it cools down. The recipe may seem very simple, but this Peanut Spicy Rice is ultra tasty.
