Ingredients
1/4 cup
Bombay Rava
(60 gm)
1/3 cup
Sugar
(80 gm)
1/2 cup
Water
(120 ml)
1/4 cup
Cashew Nuts
1/4 cup
Ghee
1/2 liter
Milk
Saffron – a pinch
3 tbsp
Chironji Seeds
(Soaked for 30 minutes)
1/2 tsp
Cardamoms
1/4 pinch
Edible Camphor

Melt Ghee and roast Cashew Nuts until they turn golden.
Add Semolina/Rava to the same Ghee and roast on a low flame. When it is roasted, add Water and cook until soft and Ghee separates.
When Ghee separates, add Milk and mix well so that there are no lumps.
Once Rava is dissolved in the Milk, add Chironji. Mix and cook for 10-12 minutes or until the mixture thickens.
Once the Kheer begins to thick, add Sugar, Saffron, Cardamom Powder and Cashew Nuts, mix well. If you like, add a pinch of edible camphor.
