Bottle Gourd Chapati | Lauki Chapathi | Sorakaya Chapathi | How to make Bottle Gourd Chapathi - Want a Chapathi that is softer than cotton? Here, make this Bottle Gourd Chapathi, in my style. All you need is some Curd for a soft Chapathi. Here is a detailed recipe with images and a video.
Whenever we talk of Chapathi, the immediate question is what is the accompaniment? But what if you can make a Chapathi that just needs cool Curd to go with it? Normal Chapathis lose their softness and become hard as time passes. If that shouldn’t happen, then we need to use a lot of Oil. But this Bottle Gourd Chapathi needs just a little Oil and stays soft for hours together. It can be taken in a lunch box too.

Tips
-
Once grated Bottle Gourd is added to the Flour, the dough should be kneaded well, adding a little bit of Water.
-
I have added thinly chopped Green Chillies. But you could add Green Chilli paste as well.
-
The Chapathi cannot be made in a round shape. There will be some little holes and unevenness in it.
-
If the dough becomes too thin, add some dry flour.
