Chettinad Spicy Crispy Potato Fry Recipe | How to make Crispy Potato Fry Recipe- The moment we mention Chettinad, we remember the strong taste of the cuisine of that region. Whatever dish we make, a bit of spice has to be added to tickle our tongue with the famous Chettinad flavours. That is why, it is not just Tamil Nadu but the entire country is a fan of the Chettinad Cuisine.

This Potato Fry is not the regular Fry with Salt and Mirchi Powder but is interestingly different. Add this to hot rice with Ghee or Curd Rice. And enjoy a whole new experience.

Tips

• Use thin-skinned Potatoes for a crisp and crunchy fry

• Potatoes can be peeled or you can leave the skin on. In case you want to fry them with the skin on, ensure that you wash them thoroughly.

• Boil the Potatoes to 80 % without covering them. Rest of the cooking will be done when you are frying them in Oil. If they are too softly boiled, the cubes will be smashed when you are frying them.

• This Masala Powder is my recipe but you can add spices to taste your palate.

• Potatoes are fried much better in Iron Pans than Non-Stick Pans.
