Instant Idli Recipe | Soft Idli Recipe | Vismai Food

Instant Idli Recipe Puffed Rice (Chiwda) and Semolina (Rava) are soaked for about 30 minutes in curds, and then steamed to make Instant Idli. This is a very good option when one is in search of ideas about what to make for breakfast.

The Instant Idli is in no way less tasty than the Idli that we make in the traditional way of fermenting ground Dal and Rice mixture.

Tips

Puffed Rice:

• Take the thick variety of Puffed Rice. Wash and soak. If you prefer, you may use the red variety of Puffed Rice.

Curds:

• Any curds will do for this recipe, but the results will be better if you use sour curds.

For softer Idlis:

• The batter should be whisked well. The more we beat it, the batter will rise, and the Idlis will be soft.
