Tips

About Paneer:

  1. Kheer tastes better if you use fresh, soft Paneer.

  2. Before you add the Paneer to the Kheer, soak it for 15 minutes in hot water and then grate it on the side of the large holes.

  3. If you like, you could smash Paneer and use it too.

Change the flavor of the Kheer:

  1. I have added Cardamom powder to the Kheer. You could add Rose water at the end, if you like.

  2. I have used dry fruits. You could add Tavoti Pharophati too if you like. But only at the end.

If you want to use Jaggery:

  1. If you want to use Jaggery instead of Sugar, melt Jaggery, remove the Kheer from the stove, filter the syrup and mix it.
