Potato Peas Rice | Aloo Matar Pulao | Bachelors Special Aloo Matar Pulao | Veg Pulav - If you want a simple, one pot recipe for lunch boxes or for weekends, this Potato Peas Rice is perfect. I call the Potato Peas Pulao as a Lazy Day special because it is so easy to make and great to eat.
This simple recipe can be made on special days too. It will get more applause in less time. It is so simple that all you have to do is, add all the ingredients to the cooker and cook to two whistles.

Tips
Basmati Rice:
- I have used Basmati Rice so it is enough to add 1.1/4 Water to a Cup of Rice. But if you are using Sona Masuri Rice or some other kind, you need 2 Cups of Water.
Some more tips:
- I have used frozen Peas so they get cooked quickly though I had added them at the end. If you are using fresh Peas, fry them along with the Onions.
