Tips

Chocolate:

  1. For the best flavor, use pure chocolate if possible. It enhances the richness of the Cold Cocoa. In typical street-style versions, chocolate compounds are used, which are not pure chocolate — quality varies depending on the price.

For an Exceptional Taste:

  1. The colder the Cold Cocoa is chilled, the better it tastes. Street vendors often store it in steel or aluminum containers placed over ice, giving it that instantly refreshing feeling with the very first sip.

  • 1/2 litre Milk
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 60 gms Dark Chocolate

Instructions

  2. Bring the remaining milk to a boil. Add sugar and stir until it dissolves completely.
  3. Add the cocoa-custard slurry and grated or finely chopped dark chocolate pieces into the hot milk. Stir continuously and cook until the mixture slightly thickens. Switch off the flame.
