Tips

Chocolate:

• I have used Semi-sweet Dark Chocolate Compound. If you prefer, you may use bitter-sweet chocolate.

• Chocolate Compound is different from Chocolate. Chocolate Compound means raw Chocolate. We can make different kinds of cakes with the Chocolate Compound by adding some flavours and dry fruits etc. What we get in the market packaged as Chocolates are ready to eat chocolates. This is a complete thing by itself. You cannot do anything else with ready -made chocolates. Making another thing using ready- made Chocolate is just like using Biryani to prepare another new dish!!

Can we not use Dairy Milk or any other Chocolate to make the Chocolate Sandwich?

• You may use any of those if you like. But these chocolates are not hard like the Chocolate Compound. They cannot be grated. And they will melt at the mere heat from your hands.

Butter:

• Make it a point to be generous when buttering the slices if you wish that the Sandwich should be crisp and nice. Butter spreads well on the slice if it is in room temperature. If you are short of time, you may put the butter into the Microwave Oven for 30 seconds to make it soft. If it is still hard, keep it in the Microwave for another 10 seconds and take it out. Mix it well and keep it again for 10 seconds. Repeat it once more. So, the right method is to heat it only for 10 minutes at a time. If you keep it for long and try to soften the butter, it will melt away completely like oil. Totally melted butter will make the slice of bread soggy when it is grilled. You will not be able to make a crisp sandwich.

Chocolate Syrup:

• You may use any Chocolate Syrup available in the market.

Bread:

• Do not use Milk Bread for making Sandwiches
